john landis is just a terrible non-person, talentless director, who’s totally vapid of humor, i.e. ‘Man Gorilla suit = comedy gold every time’ (…Eddie Murphy must did him dirt to put up w him again — esp after Landis’ ‘Coming to America’ shenanigans – see Playboy interview, e.g. on-set, near-choke out)
