Use mkvtoolnix and you are good to go in 10 minutes
Would you mind walking me through the steps required? I have used mkvtoolnix to remove unwanted subs/audio but never to make a mkv from a complete bluray. I thought you needed MakeMkv to accomplish that?
open the bdmv file with makemkv. i don’t believe you can use mkvtoolnix for that step.

You can use MKVToolnix if you want, just add the playlist and it should give you a list with the main movie at the top, just select that one and you’re good to go
