Merci. SPECTACULAR film, which got me started on all the gems of director HG Clouzot – all great but this is absolutely stellar. Remade in 1977 with Roy Scheider by dir William Friedkin as also excellent “Sorcerer” (friedkin’s take on the source book he says).
