FYI This is the, er, ‘superior’ original version, as released in cinemas, not the shorter ‘Director’s Cut’ which makes a ton of absolutely pointless changes >>> After examining the Theatrical Cut and Director’s Cut, here are the differences I found: -When Clarke and Roger’s agent is given them advice, his line “Anthony Newley isn’t a songwriter. If you want to sell songs today, you got to have an act with jokes and padded segue” is cut. -The ending to the Little Darlin’ number is re-cut. It ends with their agent getting up, instead of Beatty singing, “please hold my hand.”… Read more »
