Why is this release almost 100 GB’s compared to the FraMeSToR release which is around 65 GB? I’ve looked at the video specs from both releases and FraMeSToR’s has better specs. Am I missing something?

When I’ve removed extra audio tracks in the past, sometimes they are about 2-3GB. So 13 extra audio tracks at 3GB a piece would account for the difference

From the NFO: NOTES: Real DoVi & HDR10+ and Atmos 7.1 release. This movie is probably one of my favourites ever So this was basically what i did: First I created a prores 4444xq copy of the original uhdbd, then i detected all scene cuts and exported the edl. I then analysed the bd with the edl for dynamic hdr metadata w HDRmaster8K making sure to use a variable output blanking (2.40 & 1.78) as thats what the movies ar on is, and then exported the metadata. what’s the point of this ? since this isn’t legit atmos mix ?
how does the DTS MA 5.1 compares to this “atmos” and raw wav file ?

Overall the audio is much worse than the default 5.1 mix. The balance is just way off with all of the “objects” or channels, and the dialogue is constantly drowned out, which leads you to having to turn up the volume when anyone speaks, and back down again during action or heavy music scenes.

I love people who are passionate enough and talented enough to do this stuff, but I hate stuff like this being tagged as a REMUX. They’ve completely altered everything on the disc. It is not a REMUX in any way, shape or form. Should be tagged as CUSTOM, or something similar.

Nolan is a purist and one of, if not the, best filmmaker alive, and I trust his vision, and he doesn’t like Atmos and Dolby Vision for home, so I don’t want it either.

Nolan needs to get with the times, because he’s acting like an elitist dinosaur, and I also wouldn’t say he has the best judgement when it comes to audio. His mixes have been dubious to outright bad since The Dark Knight Rises.

This should be tagged as a CRAPMUX, because the both picture and sound is really bad

Nice try with the Atmos, but it’s not balanced well at all. The dialogue is extremely recessed compared to everything else, and you have to keep turning down the volume when the music or action happens, then back up just to hear what anyone is saying. The 5.1 mix is still much better overall.
