The Atmos mix suffers from lag (same with The Abyss Theatrical remux). Regular DD is fine. Proceed with caution. (Device: Shield, Payer:Plex)
Came here to report the same thing. The atmos track is unusable it is so off. Video looks great but the audio is messed up. I am not having this issue with any other Movies with Atmos tracks on my Nvidia Shield and Plex.
Is it off by a consistent time? Because in Kodi you can set the audio track to be before or after the picture, I have to use this feature to get my sound in sync with my TV which doesn’t have a ton of processing.
Have run this file through eac3to [3.51], the -check function, and it crashes eac3to which suggests something is very wrong with this rip. I have found, elsewhere, a file [Release Name: Aliens.1986.THEATRiCAL.2160p.UHD.BluRay.H265-WOU] which checks out with eac3to, no faults reported. I shall update on the audio issue to see if this other rip also suffers from that.
