What are the release notes please?
preliminary changelog: Video stream changed to the one from Plaion 4K (DE). It’s a DV MEL instead of FEL, but with a mostly better compression/grain management in the Base Layer. When comparing with FEL baked in things even out a bit, but still in most shots Plaion release looks slightly better.
P.S. 5.1 Audio is probably replaced too from the German disc due to reportedly less filtering.

The Warner H.V. LaserDisc remains the best option for stereo. The Plaion 2.0 appears to be either a downmix of the (lightly remixed) 5.1 elements or a transfer of the 2.0 mix with a radically different EQ and a bass cut. The 5.1 mix is pretty much the same between all sources. The Plaion is dithered to 16-bit and the MGM has clipping, so the CC 5.1 was used. Both tracks had the modern MGM logo from the Plaion spliced at the head to avoid an awkward silence at the beginning.
