Why would anyone on this site be able to explain the inner workings of different streaming companies?

You people ARE aware they don’t produce it, not even rip it, but only upload it, right?

Look at the rip of ep1, the Paramount+ rip is same low bitrate as this, while Amazon is decidedly higher. PMTP don’t really care about anything, they just shove it out there…

^^What John Wickzer said^^. h265 codec is roughly twice as efficient as h264, so this rip would be 6 GB if encoded to the same quality in the same codec as the 1080p rip.

Also, it’s important to realize that changing resolution doesn’t change file size– this rip would be almost exactly the same size if it were encoded to the same specs in 720p or 1080p.
