why is it all green?

It is Dolby vision it supports only on Dolby vision supported tv
But how exactly do you play the file? What media player? I have an LG CX OLED. Do just load it up on a USB drive and play from there? I’ve heard PLEX can play it. Can Media Player Classic or VLC properly decode it?
If you’re using LG CX, use Kodi or Plex for DV. Also recommend pairing it with a Nvidia Shield Pro, but you should be able to play it with those two.

Are sure Kodi support Dolby Vision? bc the last time I cheacked, its not. and if it work, should I play dolby vision file with Kodi on my LG OLED or using Kodi on straming media like Nvidia Shield or Apple TV 4K.
It’s precise version of Kodi and then again, it doesn’t always play with the best quality.
If you load it onto a USB drive and plug it directly into your LG TV the LG media player can play dv.
Not an ideal long term solution but if you’re in a bind.
No way. Only the bad Shield and Chromecast can read dv mkv and not always in a good way, it’s way better to watch in fluid HDR right now.
this release is in MP4… can be played pretty much on every DV display

Yeah… that’s true. Until now, Kodi as well ad Plex can’t play DV in both .mp4 and .mkv perfectly. Need more time to wait…
kimu player on shield is best for me. change audio passthrough setting in kimu for dolby atmos

Just want to clarify, since this is a WEB-DL, the Audio visual quality will be the exact same as if I am streaming it on high speed internet on HBO max? Therefore, this makes the best quality of this movie (or any movie for that matter) the BD rip or remux?
I have a OLED C9 and simply downloaded this on an usb Stick and it’s playing with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Nice.
