A warning to all downloaders – this is not a true “Open Matte” release, rather somebody has simply cropped the sides to fake a 16:9 aspect ratio. You will be getting less picture if you watch this one instead of the original 2.35:1 version.
I don’t really know if this copy is the case or not, but there IS an open matte version of this film that was released on streaming. Mostly all scenes have more screen up and down unlike the bluray version, including Leeloo’s boobs. Some scenes do not. I have both and I could compare.
