    Very often, color has a meaning within the movie/paintings/logos context. Different colors play with emotions, thoughts and symbolism.

    The grading has it’s purpose and obviously in this case, it sends you deep into the the abyss.
    Should make your experience closer to whats real.

    Cameron knows his stuff better than most of his branch colleagues.

    the colors in the original release evoked my feelings of the abyss just fine. Its a similar issue with Michael Mann’s 4k reissue of Heat. Grading was totally off course. Sometimes there are situations the director choices isn’t always right.
