Still don’t understand the point of HDR10+ to DV conversions. There is literally no difference to HDR10.
For sure there is a difference between HDR10+ and HDR10. Scene to scene brightness metadata is included in HDR10+. If your TV doesn’t have HDR10+, you won’t get the scene to screne brightness improvements. When converted to DV, you will get the improvements in DV format.
If you inject converted HDR10+ into a solid white/blank video and play it on your TV, you’ll notice the brightness changes changes very well.
