What does hybrid mean? HDR kind?
The 4K release has 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. This hybrid version has the 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track from the blu-ray release/Criterion release added in.
where do you check that kind of details about releases?
The Blu-ray.com website, or reviews. I had just read a review on it here

and the reviewer mentioned that it only had the 5.1 audio.
Gotcha! So the regular blu ray actually had better audio than the new 4k one. Wow!

BT.2020 means HDR
