Why did you rip to 1080 and not 4k ? they worked on the video to upscale it, then you downscale… ???

get your facts straight: there is no uhd release of columbo! the remaster was made in 4k, but the release was made in 1080p.
I have never understood, firstly, why some folks would complain about something being offered for free. Then, if there is a question regarding the rip, there are surely better ways to formulate one’s enquiry?

The audio is slightly out of sync on S01E01. Easily fixable with mkvmerge: add a 200 ms delay to the audio and subtitles tracks.
