I think the logo is there as MGM+ allowed the first episode to be viewed for free to encourage people to become a paid member to view the rest of the series, this way no matter where this is viewed the viwer has a constant remonder of where the series came from. I could be wrong this is my guess. But yes that logo got pretty annoying.

Yes, if we could have an E01 version without logo, that would be great, even at lower res. At the moment, even the various German versions have this logo.
