Flynn at his best … not as tongue-in-cheek as Robin Hood. Flynn delivers a solid performance as Geoffrey Thorpe, an adventurer who isn’t always cock-sure of his role in events. Beautiful B&W cinematography by Sol Polito .. directed by Michael Curtiz! A certified Classic!
