this is purple and green, how do I get it to play properly over plex?
I think its a bad rip. vlc, Alex and QuickTime all do it. id pass on this one
again one of these beginner comments:
this is a DV only version, without an HDR10 core.
You need a Dolby Vision capable TV, WebOS media player, Zidoo, Dune, Apple TV4K or Nvidia Shield Pro media player to play it back correctly.
This is by no means a bad rip.
Your playback chain / Windows PC just cannot play this correctly, as only the Dolby Vision layer is played here.
I can confirm this is true. I have a Shield Pro hooked up to an LG OLED 4K monitor and the video played back with Dolby Vision. No color distortions, etc..
