Repacked for superior video on FRA UHD Blu-ray.

The surround remix from Criterion was used for the main audio as it was supervised and approved by Lynch, but the version on the Potemkine and Arthaus discs seems to have been tinkered with and the channels are configured differently. For this reason, the Criterion version was preferred.
Criterion has a lossless original audio track; however, they have cleaned it up using filtering to try and remove noise, reduce hiss, etc. This results in a loss of details and muffled sound. Original audio from previous Blu-rays are unedited, but lossy. LaserDisc was preferred for a lossless, unedited capture.

Subtitles from the Arthaus disc for the distorted speech from the backwards effect and during the pink room scene were merged with OCR’d subtitles from the Criterion disc due to those lines being hardcoded on the Criterion video. Criterion SDH subtitles in PGS format are also included, but they are missing those distorted dialog lines.

Nordic subtitles from Cineasterna and MUBI have different translation so both are included here.

Looks like it, at least from the size. Haven’t seen any reviews yet. Seems to be from the fresh French 4K release.
