Release Notes:
[*]Source #1: Arrow GBR UHD Blu-ray (2026): Video, original 6-track mix and sub.
[*]Source #2: Kino Lorber USA UHD Blu-ray (2021): Commentary and sub.
[*]Source #3: MGM USA Blu-ray (2009): 5.1 remix and subs.
[*]Source #4: MGM NTSC DVD (2005): Named chapters.
[*]Source #5, #6, #7: Amazon, iTunes, Netflix WEB-DL: Additional srts.

Used superior video from Arrow GBR UHD Blu-ray. Due to its better encode, it retains more grain and detail over Kino Lorber's USA UHD and FRA UHD (USA ends up being the worse of the three).

Comparison: Arrow GBR UHD Blu-ray, Kino Lorber USA UHD Blu-ray, Les Gardiens Du Cinma FRA UHD Blu-ray

Demuxed with latest DGDemux and w/ merge DV function.

Previous audios from Kino Lorber USA UHD Blu-ray (or 1080p Blu-ray) as well as the FRA UHD have lines missing and one echo part also missing. Arrow corrected this by patching both audios. However, these audios were botched from the start, as it is likely MGM provided these after not pitching up the ones they sent to the streaming services when the 4k restoration was done. They did correct it afterwards but they likely used some crappy program to do it and supplied all labels the same tracks (the 5.1 and 2.0 is the same as the Kino and FRA, but patched with the missing stuff). The sound is compressed and frankly terrible in terms of the dialogue. At least Arrow included the 6-track which has all the lines, echo and the original song at the dinner, and is free of these problems so it was set as default.

For the 5.1 Remix, the MGM 2009 is free of these problems and is the right pitch with all the lines, echo and the original song at the dinner; Furthermore it's remixed from the said 6-track. So added the MGM one.

I didn't see any merits in including an inferior botched stereo track, since the 6-track is original, same for the suspicious 2.0 track on the MGM which is mostly a downmix with some boosting and normalization, losing dynamic range over the 6-track. So only kept two options.

Commentary has more cutoff on the Arrow. FRA was worse too; so it was between Kino Lorber and the MGM Blu-ray (NTSC DVD has the commentary mixed in with wrong pitched audio). In the end after listening to several parts, the Kino Lorber was chosen.

5.1 & 6-track Comparisons: Slow.pics
Stereo Comparisons: Slow.pics
Commentary Comparisons: Slow.pics

All additional PGS were synced and tonemapped to same % of brightness on UHD.

Named chapters from MGM NTSC DVD, as is, synced to I-frames of remux.
