Demuxed with latest DGDemux and w/ merge DV function.

Previous stereo audios were not really good (but still better than the terrible 5.1 remix). Among the Criterion NTSC DVD, Criterion LaserDisc and Anchor Bay NTSC DVD, there’s isn’t really a difference but in comparing the lossless Criterion LD vs the new Dolby stereo track on the Criterion UHD, the UHD uses a new source, and it’s better than said LD. It also decodes very well to 4.0 and a much better track than the 5.1 remixes so was set as default.

For the 5.1 remix, Criterion removed the annoying hum present on previous 5.1 remixes, and retains more dynamic range; It’s still a crap remix and I don’t recommend it over the stereo mix but kept the Criterion track.

Commentaries from Criterion NTSC DVD as they were stereo (and recorded that way) like the sony ones, however the sony has some terrible normalization reducing the dynamic range drastically. The UHD has the commentaries in mono, they’re not bad per se, but I preferred the Criterion NTSC DVD ones, which were then synced.As usual Criterion’s PGS is too bright so they were tonemapped to 65% brightness. All additional PGS were synced and tonemapped to same % of brightness. Srts also synced.

Named chapters mostly from the Criterion UHD, but used two stops from the NTSC DVD. It’s the same ported chapters, but the UHD misses said entries and names; synced to I-frames of the remux.
