In reply to Blob. You can't convert HLG to HDR, the container supports HDR, you just need to make sure your playback device supports the Hybrid Log Gamma standard :)

In reply to I MacHunt. HLG is HDR, your device needs to support HLG a lot of TVs received a firmware update to support it, all HLG is a way to encapsulate SDR and HDR in a single stream. It was developed by the BBC and NHK. Just make sure your device is capable of Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG), if it is, it will play this content back in HDR.
