I know it’s not the original IMAX format but fullscreen! They put the IMAX scenes in home release too (fullscreen). For example The Dark Knight, Tenet, Aquaman, WW84…
Would be a shame if they’re ignoring this for Dune

Watched it 2 times in cinema (1x IMAX). This masterpiece is a must for cinema! I’m literally shocked, that this version (HBOMax) has seriously the wrong aspect ratio… no fullscreen! I really hope Warner will fix this for the disc release! Even the shitty WW84 comes with it’s IMAX format(ted scenes), but they missed it for THE IMAX movie Dune… they must be kidding.
