People who have received Warner’s UHD of Barry Lyndon really say that it’s significantly better encoded than Criterion’s UHD, so I would really love a remux of the Warner UHD!

Could you upload a REMUX of Warner’s UHD of Barry Lyndon? Supposedly, it also has Dolby Vision and it’s better encoded than Criterion’s!

FINALLY!! Thank you! According to the respectable AVforums website, also this year (towards Xmas time) will supposedly see also the 4K remastered release of One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest and The Master Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut. Still maddeningly waiting on Forbidden Planet and Gone With The Wind, it’s criminal those haven’t been remastered yet.

There are German and French dialogue lines which are intentionally left untranslated and do not require subtitles. Criterion transcribed them word-for-word in their SDH track. Warner in their SDH for some reason translated them, but of course did not make them available standalone (either on DVD or BD).

Preferred audio from the 2017 CC release, as it’s 24-bit rather than 16/padded 18. Tracks are otherwise identical.
